History of Mesa Cooperativa
Mesa Cooperativa de CSUF recognizes the need for the unity among the Chicano/Latino student organizations on campus. This organization was founded in 1992 by Chicano/Latino students and faculty members interested in a support network for students on campus. Since its founding, this council has continuously brought cultural, social, and educational events to all CSUF students and the local community, The Bienvenida, Dia de los Padres, Chicano/Latino Heritage Month and The Cinco de Mayo celebration are some of the events MESA hosts during the year. Organizations in MESA promote and support each other's events.

The historic mission of M.E.Ch.A. involves an educational plan of action that builds an education ladder for the advancement of our people. Recognizing that the strength of our movement is rooted in our barrios, M.E.Ch.A. pledges itself to reach out to the community and schools, to establish new educational opportunities. We are an academic sorority who prides themselves on the empowerment of Latinas. We develop strong leaders who will provide and practice political, social, and cultural activities. SHPE promotes the development of Hispanics in engineering, science, and other technical professions to achieve educational excellence, economic opportunity and social equity. Hermanas Unidas
HaU The purpose of this organization is to reach out to the Latina community and provide resources as a family networking system though avenues provided by the three pillars of Hermanas Unidas: academics, community service, and social events. We endeavor to provide a place where women can come together and be themselves. We are a sisterhood attempting to provide a healthy transition to and from the university. Caporales San Simon California
Bolivian Dance Group Caporales San Simon California is a non-profit fraternity dance group, found November 22nd 1978 in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Exporting Bolivian culture through the dance of Caporales to the world. FFCUSS counts with chapter in La Paz-Oruro-Cochabamba-Sucre-Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Sweden, Italy, England, and Sao Paolo Brazil. In the US in Virginia, New York, and now California. Founded here in California on March 21st, 2012. MAES accomplishes its mission and vision by providing each one of its members with the tools necessary to excel in academia as well as in the professional world. As a member you become part of the MAES Pipeline which aims to guide students from the beginning of their education and into the professional world. Students interested in majoring in Modern Language Spanish will benefit from the enriching academic and cultural activities AAEE hosts each semester.
